Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd. Issues Request for Proposals for Disposition Mapping Services.

Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd (ADP) is conducting a Request for Proposal to select a Contractor to maintain the DIDs Mapping Framework Data and deliver the product to ADP for distribution to its customers through AltaLIS.

ADP is a Part 9, non-profit corporation based in Alberta created to provide long-term management of comprehensive digital data sets for our stakeholders. Governed by a board of directors that includes the Government of Alberta, Alberta Energy Regulator, and representatives from municipalities, the resource industries and utilities, ADP has the core purpose of connecting the creators and users of geospatial data using a unique business model that ensures that the products and services that support our stakeholders’ needs remain accessible, affordable, useful, and of high quality.

ADP operates a joint venture with AltaLIS, a private, for-profit corporation jointly owned by The Silvacom Group and North West Geomatics Ltd. AltaLIS performs the updating, re-engineering, storage, distribution, value-added redistribution and general management of data, including DIDs Mapping Framework Data, under license from ADP.
