Alberta Data Partnerships Issues Request for Proposal for Plan Distribution System

Alberta Data Partnerships Ltd (ADP) is conducting a Request for Proposal to select a Contractor to develop and maintain a Plan Distribution System. The plans are created for any surface work performed on Crown Land within the province of Alberta requires a plan to be submitted to the Surveys and Technical Services Section (STSS), Dispositions and Technical Services Branch, Alberta Environment and Parks along with an application form. These plans consist of survey plans, sketch plans, etc. filed by applicants for dispositions (lease, licence, other) for purposes such as well sites, pipeline or power line rights of way, roadways and etc.

ADP is a Part 9, non-profit corporation based in Alberta created to provide long-term management of comprehensive digital data sets for our stakeholders. Governed by a board of directors that includes the Government of Alberta, Alberta Energy Regulator, and representatives from municipalities, the resource industries and utilities, ADP has the core purpose of connecting the creators and users of geospatial data using a unique business model that ensures that the products and services that support our stakeholders’ needs remain accessible, affordable, useful, and of high quality.
